Allen R. Kryger (age 68) President and Chief Executive Officer of Peak Resorts, Inc., has been employed at the Resort for the past 40 years. He has served as C.E.O. of the Resort since 1969 and is the driving force behind the design, expansion and growth of Greek Peak Mountain Resort. Mr. Kryger served as first president of New York State Ski Area Operators Association and was awarded induction in the Hall Of Fame in 1989. Mr. Kryger currently serves on the Board of Managers for REDI, LLC and served on the Board of Directors for the National Ski Areas Association from 1998 to 2004. In 2006 Mr. Kryger received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Ski Areas Association for his contributions to the ski industry.
Thomas R. Hatfield (age 52) Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of Peak Resorts, Inc. has been employed by the resort for the past 15 years. A graduate of Canisius College's MBA Program and a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Hatfield previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Kissing Bridge Corp. where for five years he was responsible for the overall management, planning and conceptual development of the company's two ski operations. Mr. Hatfield has also served as the Economic Development Coordinator for Erie County, Buffalo, New York. Mr. Hatfield has been responsible for the formation of a number of partnerships that have acquired interests in, or have developed and are now operating, oil and gas wells in Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio, New York and Pennsylvania.
Roderick (Sam) Kryger (age 47) Sam has been working in the resort/hospitality industry all his life. He is a 1981 graduate of the Hotel Administration School at Cornell University, is a certified hotel administrator (CHA), and has attended Holiday Inn World Wide Hotel General Manager School.
After graduating from college his work experience has included ten years at a family run ski resort in the Catskills, five years in time-share real estate sales, two years with Winegardner & Hammons, Inc. of Cincinnati, Ohio and two years as GM of the Holiday Inn Downtown in Syracuse, NY. Most recently as Vice President of Operations for Vista Hospitality, which owns and operates 7 hotels in the US and Canada. For the past four years, in addition to his regional managerial role, he ran a 604 room hotel/casino in Reno NV. that was recently sold to a Chicago Real Estate developer.
Gayle Kryger, Vice President of Resort Marketing Senior Sales Executive and marketing professional Leads Real Estate sales team with over 40 years of experience in professional sales including real estate and timeshare properties. Also oversees operations and marketing efforts for Greek Peak Resort Accommodations.
Thomas K. Pelis, Vice President of Engineering and Construction Progressive advancement in the engineering, construction and development business over a 30-year professional career. Advancement from design engineer to officer in a national engineering consulting firm, and advancement from project manager to executive officer in the design/build and construction business. Work experience in diverse market segments- both public and private. Areas of special competence are project conception and development; creative project execution strategies; design and construction business and production management of design and construction operations; and coordination of multidisciplinary, multiphase programs, including those conducted on a design/build or fast-track basis
Jeffery G. Healey, Director of Sales Jeff grew up in Oneonta, NY and began his sales career in 1985 at The Wellington Yacht & Racquet Club in Newport, Rhode Island as Sales Manager, overseeing 40 sales agents. After the successful sell-out of this elite fractional project, Jeff worked for American Skiing Company and was involved in quartershare hotel sales at two of their most popular resorts, The Summit Hotel in Sunday River, Maine and The Grand Summit Resort Hotel in Mount Snow, Vermont. Most recently before coming to Greek Peak, Jeff was integral in the sellout of another quartershare hotel, The Kaatskill Mountain Club in Hunter, NY. With over 22 years of extensive sales and management experience, Jeff continues to share his expertise as Director of Sales for The Hope Lake Lodge Resort and Indoor Waterpark. |
